...and we are BLESSED! 

We had a wonderful Easter...especially having the family with us at East Cooper Baptist Church and then at our house for a fabulous Easter feast! [HoneyBaked Ham, Sweet Potato Casserole, Macaroni, Asparagus Casserole, Rolls and Geechie Peachie Cobbla]  Cole's first Easter was GREAT!!!

Spring has Sprung!

April has been good to us thus far! 

We found out that our friends, The Elgin's will soon be our neighbors!  We can't wait to have them so close!

 

Our dear friends John David and Meghan were just here for a visit and we had such a great time with them...wish they didn't live so far away!!!  We(Tony, Hannah & I) met them at Amen Street this past Friday night and had a delicious dinner! We had some yummy shrimp corndogs for an appetizer and I had a shrimp po boy that was the bomb(wow...that dates me)!  We then wandered over to Rooftop at Vendue Inn for a few drinks...sooo fun and the weather was perfect!  Oh and I almost forgot...Cole spent the night at the farm without us for the first time for TWO nights in a row...this was also the longest I've ever been away from him.  Well...he did GREAT, Me-Maw and Papa loved it, I got sooooo much done and survived without him...although it was really tough being away from him for so long....I think I kissed him for a whole hour straight once I got my hands on him! :)  Saturday night we took John David and Meghan to Sweatman's BBQ in Eautawville, SC...this is by far our favorite bbq joint and they loved it too!  Below are some pics from our fun weekend and some other random pics of the little guy.

Ready to go somewhere...



So we went to the 6 month check up this week...17 pounds, 3 oz(50%) and 26 inches longs(40%)...Dr. Weaver was quite pleased his his developmental progress...rolling over, almost sitting up on his own, etc.  Cried with the vaccines, but only for a minute.  The doctor also said we could try some peaches or pears....well...as you can see below he's not a fan of the peaches just yet!  He was making some pretty hilarious faces, did a few whole body shudders and even gagged once!  His CC tried again yesterday with cereal mixed in(has the flavor) and it seemed to go down better! :)

yuck...

This was the best smile I could get out of him while eating the peaches...hahaha

I think I might be sick...please make it stop momma!
