Ok...this is what we did this past weekend!  We were lucky enough to be invited out to the Mead's UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL land, Wappaoolah Plantation, to hang out and turkey hunt(Cole and I played at "The Roost" and strolled around this amazing land while daddy went out for his first turkey hunt ever...and as luck may have it, got his first turkey!  It had an 8 1/2 inch beard and weighed 18 pounds!  Go daddy!  What an amazing weekend with great people, food and fun...paying for the pollen exposure today though! :)

First Taste of Cereal

Cole had his first taste of something other than formula today...and LOVED it! We could hardly get him to smile between spoonfuls for a picture because he was so concerned about getting the next bite into his mouth.  Too funny!  He wasn't exactly sure what to do with it and was sort of blowing rasberries as he ate, but I believe he'll get the hang of it soon and have no doubt we've got a good eater on our hands.  He would grab at the spoon and help get it in his mouth and then want to suck at the spoon like it was a bottle...then he'd get a death grip on the spoon and wouldn't want to give it back for me to put more on it.  He also had his fingers in his mouth with each bite(as you can see below).  He may have loved the mess as much as the food.  He had to go straight to the tub after he finished his bowl...you can see why in the last pic!
It's so much fun that he's sitting up and eating like a big boy, but a part of me wants to keep him cuddled in my arms with a bottle!  Time really does fly when you're having fun!!!

The First Bite!

Here's my death grip...haha!

It appears that he's a fan...a messy fan!

Give me more!!!

Our mohawk man

Fabulous Evening!

We went back to where we took pics 5 years ago and Tony took me to the garden where we were wed
and gave me a beautiful ring...sapphires and diamonds!  Sapphire's are the traditional 5 year anniversary gift and also Cole's birthstone---extra special---!

We then went to dinner at Husk...it was delicious!
They had Krispy Kreme Ice Cream, but I was too full to have any(an excuse to return :).
Looking forward to many more year together!
