Fort Moultrie, Sullivans Island - Veterans Day Weekend

This past Sunday we decided to head out to Ft. Moultrie with Cole since he and momma were finally feeling better and because it was a beautiful day... So here are some pics of our Sunday Funday adventures!

Daddy's Week Off!

Sorry to be delayed in my postings!  Cole and I are just recovering from colds and I'm playing catch up.  Tony had off the first week in November and we took Cole to the Children's Museum and then to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia.  The museum was fun but will be even more fun when he's a bit older.
The zoo was GREAT...Cole loved coming face to face with the giraffes and getting to feed them lettuce with Me-Maw( you'll see their great big tongues in a picture below)!

Doing a little shopping at the museum grocery store

Some Angler lovin at the house!

Blessed with AmAzInG Grandparents

Here are some pictures from Friday at Palmetto Park with CC & Du-Da Fowler and Saturday at the aquarium with Me-Maw & Papa Branham.  Cole is one loved little boy and such a joy to us all!
Happy Halloween! - Stay tuned for Halloween pictures -

Swinging with Du-Da

Walking with Me-Maw

This is just prior to Cole's first somersault....he was trying to get down this small little step and for some reason decided to squat and put his hands on the ground...which was followed by the cutest little roll you've ever seen...we cracked up!

He's a baby on the go...and fast

Headed into the aquarium with Me-Maw and Papa

His f2f experience with Scuba Steve...was entrigued by him until he got a little too close for comfort - haha

Cole, Me-Maw and be sure to notice Papa's head popping into the log  :-)

Daniel Island Park Day

CC, Uncle Patrick, Cole and I headed down to Daniel Island Park Day to check out all of the festivities yesterday...they had vendors galore, a petting zoo, fancy/smancy playhouses, food, bands and all sorts of kiddo stuff.  Cole enjoyed the animals and the playhouses the best.  It couldn't have been a prettier day...the weather was perfect!!!  Here are some shots of
Park Day 2011!

and so begins uncle/nephew bonding time

Not sure if CC or Cole's expression is funnier...Cole really doesn't look like he's feelin the chicks

Watching Uncle Patrick feed the billy goat

This is the point where Mr. Donkey got too close for comfort...so on we moved

Cole was eating and had very little interest in posing for a picture

Very cute...both smiling!

Love this one!

At least 2 out of 3 are looking at the camera

Making friends in the playhouse

Farm & Fair Fun

Cole and I spent a few days at Me-Maw and Papa's this past week and even made a trip to Columbia for the state fair on Thursday...it was pretty chilly, but tons of fun.  Cole loved seeing all of the animals...especially the cows!  Well, in all honesty...he didn't love ALL of the animals...turns out he likes when humans make a rooster noise, but isn't a huge fan of actual roosters(although it was a building FULL of roosters, I'm talking at least 500)...it was even a bit overwhelming for Me-Maw and Momma.  We got a picture with Swifty the swimming pot-bellied pig(sorry, couldn't put it on the blog...it was a polaroid and stayed at Me-Maw's) and watched a few pig races...so cute!!! We forgot the camera so I snapped a few with my cell...sorry for the lack of pics.

Nice and Cozy...and ready for food, fun and people watching! :)

Posing by the sheep...well at least Me-Maw is!

Bitter Sweet

CC and DuDa (and doggies) spent the night with us last night and then CC, Cole and I went to the Mt. Pleasant Children's Day Festival...the weather was perfect, Cole loved walking around and checking everything out and mom and I had fun too!  This will be even more fun for him when he's 2 or even 3 and can jump in all of the jump castles and take part in all of the kiddy activities.  Here are a few pics from today and 2 other cute ones that I got off of the Fowler camera card.
